Buying a X-Box 360

Hello
Today we will being learning what type of X-Box 360 you want. Lets start with the basics.
  • What is the age group

The age group really does have an effect on the X-Box 360 you want. For a child of 6-12 the best X-Box 360 would be the Arcade version. It is cheaper than the others for only $279.99 and it is actually made for that age group. If the child is 13-16 I would suggest getting the Pro version which is the same as the Arcade but the hard drive is a lot bigger. This X-box is for a lot more gaming and saving. This X-Box costs $349.99. Last is the 17 and older group. you want to spend a little more on these people so i would suggest fro them to get the Elite version. The Elite costs $449.99 but comes with 100Gb more room. This X-Box also has a slightly larger processor but it does not make a big difference. (more on the X-box 360 itselft later in the Blog)

  • How often will you be using the X-box 360

The amount of time also makes the diffrence in which version you want. If you plan on sharing the X-Box with your children you will want a Pro version for all the diffrent accounts you will have from sharing the X-Box. The X-Box should be place on somthing solid like wood or glass table so the bottom can cool down better.

  • What is your spending limit

Money is always an issue and if that is a big problem why buy the Elite when you can buy a Pro. Another way to lighten the load is instead of buying a new X-Box 360 buy a Used or Refurbished one. They are cheaper and are just as good as the new ones. Don't forget that to play online with other people cost $50 per year.
